Guz (Guy Arnold)

Well hello!

You might have already guessed that my name is Guy! I am a student from the wet and dreary valleys of a South Wales University in Glamorgan, in a little town called Treforest.

I grew up in South East England (sometimes equally wet and dreary). When I'm home I live with my parents because my siblings (2 sisters and 1 brother) are clever and profitable and live on their own!! Not like me who still sees my parents as bank numbers one and two =D

At uni I am studying Combined Studies - which is basically six modules (I'm doing seven because I failed one last year so I have to do an extra one to make up the grades) of your choice. So I chose: Writing Fiction, Writing For Children, Writing Poetry, Terror and the Supernatural, Communication and Persuasion, and for a bit of variety, Intro to Forensics and a business studies module called Trends in Selection. I love my course and I am getting so much out of it and uncovering lots of hidden talent that I myself didn't know I had, although I have been told so.

In my spare time I like to keep myself occupied by writing mostly poetry because I find prose/stories a bit of a struggle but I still enjoy the challenge of a story. I have written a handful of decent poems that I am happy with so that's good I suppose. I also LOVE to play squash! Such a stress reliever to simply slam a ball against a wall for hours and running about is very liberating - sets me up for a good typing sesh lol. I also love computer games/cycling/rugby/reading/socialising etc etc etc.

H'okaaay well I'm starting to run out of interesting things to say, if what I've said already is interesting. So yeh, I'm going to go find out what's what with this website!
