Grace, ?? , obsessed with music , reading && writing.

I am just one of those people that sees inspiration in every little phrase they hear... just a sentence can send me scrawling pages and pages, and in my opinion, the only thing in this world more fun that reading a good book, is writing one yourself. You can loose yourself in a good book yeah, but its just so much better to loose yourself in your very own book. You can decide the rules, you decide who wins, who looses... if i tell the truth i belive that all writers (me included) are very very big controll freaks :) but hey, theres nothing wrong with that. I once thought to myself, "The fastest route to power is through pen and paper" its not by being president or a famous sports man or woman, or going on the x-factor, that gets you places in the world, it doing what you love, and being passionate about it. Its not music that's the soul of the world, it stories: history is a story is it not, as is the future, and the present is now being written.

When I was younger, I always used to write little stories, but they never came to much and I never really finished one, but five years ago, my sister said one thing which set me off on a story. It was set to be a trilogy but, having finished it the other day, I have now decided to condense it into just the one (the stories are much shorter than average).

Every now and then I get these little bursts of inspiration, and I write them down for the future. My problem occurs when it comes to adding depth to my story- I'm great with plot, but when it comes to the insulation.. well, my stories are very cold! Recently though I have been writing my own personalised adjective thesaurus which has really helped me write. If you are struggling with descriptions, I really reccomend it.

Any Tips are welcome, especially on beginning stories & defining characters in a large group & stuff like that.. a bit of a dead end atm.
