"Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.  ~E.L. Doctorow"

Do not put statements in the negative form.
And don't start sentences with a conjunction.
If you reread your work, you will find on rereading that a
great deal of repetition can be avoided by rereading and editing.
Never use a long word when a diminutive one will do.
Unqualified superlatives are the worst of all.
De-accession euphemisms.
If any word is improper at the end of a sentence, a linking verb is.
Avoid trendy locutions that sound flaky.
Last, but not least, avoid clichés like the plague.
~William Seafare, "Great Rules of Writing"

Oh, you know! That one girl who uses too many emoticons on everything she does. The girl who dots her “i” with hearts when shes in love, with half-circles when shes in a rush, and with frowns when shes sad. That one girl who falls in love more times a week then you can say: hi. That one girl who looks like she has ADD. The girl who wear the big Buddy Holly glasses and acts like shes from the fifties when she watches Grease. That kid who dyes her hair everyday to make a rainbow. That girl who wants to be on Broadway but can't sing, dance or act. You know, that chick who thinks she can write~!
About Me

What to say, what to say... Hmm... I'm pretty average. I don't pride myself in thinking otherwise (I may think I'm a little weird at times, but there probably is someone weirder than me out there). I eat, I breathe, I live, I sleep, I hope, I dream, I think, I feel. I might be a little melodramatic at times and I may have a slight temper, and I might slack off a lot, but at least I'm proud to say I'm me! A amateur writer, a bit cheeky, likes to sleep, is kind of lazy, likes to see the bright-side of everything, loves music, loves the beach. My favorite time of the day is the evening, my favorite season is fall, my favorite smell is French vanilla, my favorite flavor is coconut, and my favorite genre is romance.

General Information
Erma, my name is Kaitlyn, and I like to write. I'm pretty normal (aside from random boasts of... randomness...? O.o). I aspire to be a writer, but my writing isn't that good. I love making friends, and I love rainy days. I'm [m a d e i n] Canada. I'm guess I'm just an average kid who likes art and spends most of her time daydreaming.

I love reading- mostly fantasy, dark romance, comedy, horror, teen/angst, and supernatural. I write for most of these genres. Another thing you should know, I loving making couple (doesn't matter if they don't end up together or one of them dies) because I love the aspect of love. Its weird, I know. Hm... what else. Oh, some of my favorite authors are
Mark Twain~ Tom Sawyer and his white fence will live on forever; as will Huckleberry Finn and his attempt at being “silivized”
J.K Rowling~ Best series in existence; I still call my friends “muggles” to this day.
Jane Austen~ Still looking for my Mr Darcy... :(
Melissa Marr~ When everyone else was heading in the direction of Vampires, she went towards the Faeries.
I have more; these are just the more influential.

My stories:
