"If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster." - Isaac Asimov

Hey howdy,

The name's Eloosive, but I actually prefer to be called Eloo. Marc will also generally get my attention. I'm a member of Protagonize's moderating team, so if you're having trouble with anything feel free to contact me with a note on my profile or through the Contact Author button down there.

So, I have a son now. His name is Max and he was born on Nov 7th, 2012 (that picture was taken Oct 27th, 2014). He's generally pretty awesome, but he is keeping me and his mother very busy. Unsurprisingly, writing time has been harder to come by than usual since his arrival.

So until I'm more active, here are some stories I would love to see more contributions on:

  • Shipwrecked - a wealthy heiress who hasn't worked a day in her life finds herself stranded on an island after her cruise ship sinks. Chaos and hilarity ensues.
  • No Consequences - a young man is told that he only has one month to live. He doesn't take the news very well.
  • The Casting Call - a series of strange, wacky, and utterly bizarre auditions for roles in a play. The poor director doesn't stand a chance.

Random bits of possible interest:

I was honored with some time in the Digital Writer Spotlight over at Media Bistro. Feel free to check it out.

Also, if you're interested in learning even more about me, you can check out my interview in the Protagonize Author Interviews Group 'round 'bout here.

Update: Mr. Howl decided a part two was a good idea. I agreed.

And you should definitely check out the interview I did with Spook right... here.

I post a new writing exercise/prompt every day on my Daily Writing Practice blog (linked below... er, above now), please feel welcome to drop by and share your take on the day's topic.

And, last but certainly not least, some of my favorite stories (in alphabetical order) on Protagonize:

I'm technically on Facebook but I hardly ever go on there. Which is surprising given how fond I am of procrastinating. I'm mysterious like that.

I suppose I should include a link if I want anyone to actually send me a friend request. So... here:
