I’m a liberal, pro-choice feminist who also believes in the Free/ Libre Open Source Software movement and saving the planet.

I currently work as a supervisor for Millets, though I’ve worked many other jobs including as a Lollipop Lady, and hardware manufacture/ repair.

I have many, many interests. I don’t really follow a set religion but my views are heavily influenced by Eastern philosophies and some of the core values in Christianity. I try also to abide by the Desiderata.

I mainly like espionage, SF and fantasy films, with my current all-time favourites being Mystery Men and Serenity. I like a wide range of music.

My tastes in literature are pretty similar to those of movies; I like SF and fantasy fiction mainly, with a little thriller, crime and supernatural thrown in for good measure. I also enjoy non-fiction books about the English language and other subjects of interest.

As regards to writing, I use to be quite serious about it, but lately haven't had had the creative spark. I prefer writing classic, almost pulp, science fiction, but I've dabbled in other genres. I've done National Novel Writing Month 5 years running, winning three times, and I intend to do so again this year.
