"I think it's very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by other people" ~ Oscar Wilde I love writing. I've been writing from a very young age and, although I don't have much time to do it anymore, it's still a large part of my life. I work in education as a Pastoral Care person - the person who cleans up life's little (and bigger) messes. A lot of my work has meant I have seen and heard a huge variety of challenging, difficult and emotional things which I feel I can draw on and use to express myself when I write. My own life has not been free of challenges and, while I've not experienced the very worst of life, I've learnt a lot from what I have seen. Some of this you can read about in my stories. As life continues to move onwards and forwards for me, I'm really looking forward to getting back into writing. My favourite thing is to write outside, with my laptop and a nice cup of tea. Preferably in Edinburgh, I have the opportunity, and specifically Regent Gardens. Or The Elephant House - of course! Right now, I live with my wonderful partner and our two horses in the centre of Weston-super-Mare. Please do take a look at my musings and let me know what you think!
