"From the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh" My identity is so deeply and heavily wrapped up in my writing that it borders on addiction. Reading, for me, has far surpassed that of an addiction and is more of an obsession. I use stories to be set free from the boundaries of this world and its realities, but that does not mean that I do not love and appreciate literature heavily rooted in the real world. However, I tend to prefer literature that is rooted in the truth. According to J.R.R Tolkien, that is what fantasy is. I have a passion for things of other worlds. I have seen the drama of everyday life. It does not excite me so much as it depresses me. Give me Middle-earth, dragons, fairies, Orisha, rainbow snakes, magic, werewolves and wonder anyday. I want to walk with Mr. Rogers through the land of make-believe. I want to take the red pill and enter the matrix. I want the Doctor to grab me by the hand and whisper "run". I want to be the last dragon because I am the master! I want dance on the storms and strike my enemies with lightning! What about you? Will you go down the rabbit hole? Care to pull the sword form the stone? Than please, join me on an adventure.
