I'm a big fan of escapism...
Writing started off as a therapeutic outlet for me when I was younger. Now it's evolved into a passion. I find myself making stories out of everyone and everything; photographs, music, art. Subconsciously making up stories in my head, about someone I see out of place. I love when things and people are out of place. I'm inspired by the oddest things in life; old architecture, old ships, antiques anything that has a vast history can inspire a story out of me.
Most of my works are fictional. I write poetry as well, but I'm very fussy about it as I don't want that critiqued because it's a reflection of my emotions, not necessarily my talent.( maybe someday I'll post some)
I enjoy creating characters with quirks and flaws and drawing a reaction out of my readers.
