"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." ~ Mewtwo, Pokémon: The First Movie I'd like to say a warm welcome to anyone who either stumbles across my page, or purposely came looking for it, and to thank you for the time it took for you to find me! Your views mean a lot to me, just as any feedback (both positive and negative) is greatly appreciated! How else will I learn to become a better writer? For those of you interested, I did have a previous account, http://www.protagonize.com/author/Vampyress33 , but I felt like the time was right to make a new one. If the works from the Vampyress33 account show up on this page, that is the reason why (it's still me). My account name says it all - I'm Cassidy Johnson. I have just recently finished my first year of college, where I have been studying film and media production. Writing is a major portion of the degree, so you can expect to see scripts posted! To me, writing is the highest form of expression; it can be meaningful, emotional, or just a bunch of nonsense. It's a way to escape this world and create one of my own. Similarly, reading has the same effect. I'm not trying to say that I'm hard-done-to, and have a terrible life - in fact, I have a great life. But doesn't everyone want to create a world that they can call their own? Where they are entirely in control, and decide what happens when? This is also why you'll find that, if you read many of my pieces, you'll be able to gather a sense of who I am as a person. I always put a little of myself into my protagonist, as it helps me to better understand who they are within the world of the story.
