I'm a junior in college. I'm an English major and I love writing as well as reading. 

I won't lie, my critiques are very direct and a bit scathing at times, but I don't mean anything I say with offense. I only want to make people view their work from multiple perspectives to give themselves better writing skills. I would expect the same to be done for me and my writing...

If I give you a low rating, it's for a reason. Not because I dislike your hair, your face, your name, or your theme of whatever. I rated it low because I had distinct and true reasons for doing so. I don't throw around perfect scores, or even relatively high scores. 

I don't mean any of this to sound arrogant or 'on a high horse,' but I'm here to improve as a writer AND as a critic of literature, not to give inflated compliments to strangers.
