Hello friend; I am the famed Djinni Bartimaeus of Uruk, who rebuilt the walls of Prague and fought in the mighty wars of Egypt!  Well, if you couldn't already tell, I'm a die-hard fan of Jonathan Stroud's Bartimaeus Trilogy.  It is perfection.  I need no other proof that God exists.  

Speaking of perfection, I am also an avid fan and aficionado of Coldplay (hence the profile picture).  There is not a single song by Coldplay that is not worth listening to. There are three categories their work fits under: good, great, and incredible.  Please, if you're looking to have an in-depth conversation with me, read the Bartimaeus Trilogy and listen to some Coldplay before attempting to do so (half sarcasm here).

I used to be a very fiction- and prose-oriented writer.  Now, I mainly write poetry and random philosophical monologues. I also write song lyrics, but that's mainly for practice.  I'd say there are only 2 or 3 good songs out of the ones I've written on here. That's another thing: I'm a musician.  I sing, play violin and piano.  Violin is my main instrument, but I love singing and piano just as much if not more.

One more thing: It should henceforth be known that 'Thomas Welsh' is a Pseudonym.  I thought long and hard about it so you'd better appreciate it. I kid, but I did spend many hours thinking up a good pseudonym.
