Though I supposedly live in dreary little England, I spend far more time in my own head. And for that reason, I tend to write fantasy. I'm very much a dreamer with no real interest in the real world, who writes as a form of release. I wouldn't describe myself as perfectly sane and I live a normal life by force of will. The person you think I am? I'm probably not. I have no idea who I am anymore.
My name's not actually Jenova Amaranth, either.

- I've been doing creative writing since I learned the alphabet
- I really appreciate constructive criticism
- I love fantasy, magic, demons and pirates
- I take NaNoWriMo more seriously than my degree
- I've been known to mercilessly torment characters
- If you ever want to find me, I'll be at the bar
- My favourite character of all time is Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII... so technically it's a video game, not a book, but it has so much storyline it should count.
- I'm a hopeless romantic, and consequently, romance seems to worm its way into whatever novel I'm writing.
- If you take the time to read my writing, I'll happily read yours.
- I will be incredibly critical in my reviews. I believe it's the best way to help people improve.
- I very, very rarely give 5-star ratings, and I'm not afraid to give low ratings where I think there are flaws. Don't take it to heart if I rate you lower than 4.
