"If it's a fight you's wanting...! Hehe, I grant that, though I've never been so keen on York. To be fair, I've not lived in the whole cobbled-streets style places. The town I live in quite commercial, especially the quarter I live in. Imagine stereotypical new red-brick square house. Yup. York is probably more cobble-stoned than Oxford, too, so my ventures there haven't really allowed me to see beyond. Well, course and atmosphere SHOULD be the big deciders for uni. Hehe, true! "Ooh (short comment 'cause I have a lesson now), I like it. Third paragraph is my favourite. You have some beautiful imagery relating to Alix there. Not sure about the fourth paragraph - it seems a bit obvious telling. Fifth paragraph/line is a nice picture, though, if you had to cut anything, 'wrought' would go, as the sentence makes sense w/out it. I like the idea of a moon gloating. Nice use of personification. The fourth-from-bottom paragraph took me by surprise. She's a demon? Perhaps that..."

"Great first line! Though I'm not sure why train ride is hyphenated. I presume it fits in with your setting, but I don't know how the 'modern' audience would feel about that. Sometimes I've had to cut or change things I love for the sake of publication. I'm not sure about the 'thought the lone onlooker'; it disrupts the flow of the sentence, perhaps. Do you need the 'too'? 'They were stood on the platform' seems, to me, the first bit of scene-action in the extract. "Some bonds were bent to..."

"Hi Neda, I'm glad I've read your story! Once I started it kept me interested all long. I enjoyed your way of developing the plot and all the twists in it. The ending is creepy and surprising! Well done! If I could offer one advice, I think the last line is redundant. I would end it like that: "He was sleeping peacefully with a crazy smile on his face. A familiar crazy smile. Ronny". or, Ronny. What do you say? Great job girl, hope it's ok I made that suggestion!"

I agree with Drlauram that the tenses are a bit mixed and it confused me a bit...
